Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the AI Alt Text Generator plugin, the AI Alt Text Generator Pro add-on, and the managed-credit service available at store.lessbutmore.ai (together, the “Service”), operated by lessbutmore.ai (“we”, “us”). By installing the plugin, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The free plugin generates image alt text using an AI provider of your choice with your own API key. The Pro add-on adds automation features under a paid license. The optional managed-credit plans let us generate alt text on your behalf, metered in credits, without you supplying an API key.

2. Accounts, licenses & credits

• A Pro license may be used on the number of sites stated in your plan (Personal, Business, or Agency).
• Managed-credit accounts are tied to your email; 1 credit = 1 generated image. Free accounts include a monthly allotment; paid plans add more. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
• You are responsible for keeping your license key and account credentials secure.

3. Billing, renewals & cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or billing portal — no calls, no retention scripts.
• On cancellation, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; taxes are handled at checkout where applicable.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the usage policies of the underlying AI providers (including OpenAI and Anthropic). You are solely responsible for the images and content you submit for processing and confirm you have the rights to do so. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or its free tier.

5. AI-generated content

Alt text is generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable in some cases. It is provided as a drafting aid — you should review generated text before relying on it, and it is not a substitute for a professional accessibility audit or legal compliance assessment. Subject to these Terms and the providers’ terms, output generated for you is yours to use.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Neon, and Vercel. Your use may also be subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is shared.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for accessibility/SEO outcomes.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
